Now we realise we are all growing and at various stages. God's process is that like Peter we ' come to know ' (John 6:69). We don't know all the answers, though what we have we share with you. Always keep it simple, and in due course God will reveal His personal messages from these pages to you, and we hope much more to all of us as we journey along together.
And the greatest of these is
love !(1 Cor 13:31)
Communion is a Love-feast of sharing life and truth in humility. Be open to guidance from Him as to your frequency. In Acts 2:42 they broke bread daily, whereas by Acts 20:7 it reads on the first day of the week. Wait on Him and follow His leading. Many people over the ages including Smith Wigglesworth (see biography) and families have taken supper daily at His table, and we can now understand why. Some of us are doing it daily now, and we feel like we are 'growing out of our spiritual socks'. We've pressed in and it's happening to us too. Please read on.

Lets see what we have been shown
by our Holy Spirit!
Very firstly God can only bless
that which is ordained or according to His pattern, for He is a God of
patterns. We find out the correct way or His pattern in whatever areas of life
we face. Do it the way it should be done, and receive what He planned for us.
It makes sense doesn't it!
Jeremiah 31:33
His plan or pattern He was
establishing for us in the Old testament was to make a Covenant with us through
Jesus Christ, where He can live His life in us and through us- actually inside
us, in our hearts individually, where He can teach us, guide us, love us,
mature us, and fellowship with us for all time. We can all recognize and know
Him from the least of us to the greatest. And He will no more remember our sin.
'I will be their God, and they, that’s us, will be My people. I will rejoice over them (us) to do them (us) good with My whole heart and My whole being'. He is leading and guiding us Himself, all of His own design. We're not destined to becoming lost dummies, useless and insecure, nor are we going to be washed up on a beach and left to dry out with nowhere to go. Now looking back we see he's for real, in all that’s involved with us. It's all in His plan if we choose and want it. Of course we do!
Jeremiah 33:3
'Call to Me and I will answer you, and show
you great and mighty things fenced in and hidden which you do not know.’
So we
called as we do regularly, and progressively He answered.
Lord's Supper. A Love Feast.
When we 'have communion' we are actually
accepting Jesus invitation to come and sup ( have a meal ) with Him personally
at His table, and in His ' Guest Room'. He serves us from His menu, which
caters for all the possible needs of His children. His personal attendance and
His desire is to serve us. We remember His words, ‘the greatest among us must
be the greatest servant and slave’, and that’s His heartfelt and unique roll,
and of course an example for us to follow. God's planned pattern unfolding enables
His love through this feast to build our relationship in His love. Wow ! What a
meal ! Having communion is not meant to be 'just a peck on the cheek’. This is
the real thing. He serves us-we receive, and we serve Him in return. He relates
to us, we relate to Him, and to others.
'Unless He builds the house, we labour in vain; I will build My church’, He tells us. Because He planned and fore-ordained us in love, and He plans that each one of us will know Him' on the inside' it follows that His supper with us ‘intimately and in His presence' is the vital key for the regular infusion of new life to, in and through us.
